James "Swede" Marsh, Jr., 84, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at New Life Hospice Resident Center, in Lorain, following a short illness. He was born February 17, 1928 in Highland Park, Illinois, where he was raised in Rockford, Illinois, before coming to Ohio in 1941. He had made his home in Amherst since 1974.
